Maia MacNiven

Maia MacNiven is President of MC MacNiven Consulting. She provides public policy advice, analysis and report writing services for clients. She has particular expertise in health policy, economic development, and policies relating to High Performance Computing and Digital Infrastructure. She is experienced in leading consulting teams to deliver results within tight timelines.  She has many repeat clients. Maia brings over 25 years of experience working with government, not-for-profit and healthcare clients to her work.

Maia holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics both from the University of Toronto. She is a Certified Management Consultant and has recently completed the Institute of Corporate Directors NFP Governance Essentials Program.

Ani Koulian

Ani Koulian is an accomplished professional experienced in policy analysis, report writing, editing, and stakeholder engagement.

Ani brings over 15 years of experience working with government, not-for-profit and healthcare clients.  Ani currently provides research, writing and editing services for MC MacNiven Consulting projects and assists in managing the office.

Ani holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.

Nancy Stow

Nancy Stow is an independent consultant and a Senior Associate of MC MacNiven Consulting. She is a former senior manager in the Ontario Public Service. Her public service career of twenty-eight years spanned labour, justice, skills training and finance policy fields.

She brings strength and knowledge in regulation, policy development, program design, and strategic planning and communications gained in central-agency, ministry and agency environments to her projects.Nancy is experienced in working with, and distilling, complex issues and in pulling together numerous people to achieve early results.

Nancy holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and an Honours BA in Political Science & History from the University of Waterloo.
